Thesmarine is a marine consultancy firm with more than 40 years of experience offering a wide range of services both in marine and offshore industry.

Company was established back in 1979 by Dr. Harry Kakamoukas under Dr. H.V. Kakamoukas and Associates with the purpose of offering services as marine and land surveyors as well as cargo surveyors undertaking the duty of cargo handling and securing. 

Throughout the years, the company had evolved both as surveyors and as local correspondents, gaining the trust of most Marin Insurers which lead to the listing by six (6) IG P&I Clubs which makes Thesmarine the biggest correspondency firm in North Greece. 

In 2021, Charis Papadionysiou joined the company as a Claims Director bringing his valuable and vast experience as a P&I correspondent to grow the firm and expand its services.

Firm also proceeded with the opening of an office in Piraeus and established a carefully picked network of associates at every corner of Greece.

After almost half century of existence, Thesmarine continues to offer its services to the majority of the leading Marine Insurers and shipowners standing on its core values of professionalism, integrity and dedication to the result.
